PDP Authentication Failure – How to Fix the Error?
The message means that the device could not properly authenticate the connection to the network or the PDP access server. Most often, the problem is related to the internet connection configuration, the SIM card, or temporary issues on the operator's side.
Why does this error appear?
The most common causes are:
- No active data package or insufficient account balance.
- Incorrect APN configuration.
- A temporary issue with the mobile operator's network.
- Weak cellular network signal.
- Incorrect device or router settings.
How can I resolve the problem?
Try the following steps:
- Restart the device.
- Turn Airplane Mode on and then off.
- Make sure the eSIM has been properly activated on the device.
- Check that the eSIM profile is enabled in the mobile network settings.
- Verify the APN settings according to your operator's configuration.
- Make sure you have an active internet/data package.
- Remove and re-add the eSIM profile if the problem persists.
- Check whether the device has the latest software updates installed.
- If you are using Dual SIM, make sure the eSIM is selected as the active SIM for mobile data.
