Using eSIM
Can I make and receive calls from my SIM card with my phone number?
Yes, you can make and receive calls from your SIM card even if the eSIM is connected as a second card, as long as your phone supports the dual SIM function (SIM + eSIM). Here's how it works:
- Set your physical SIM card as the default for voice calls
- On Android phones:
Settings -> Connections -> SIM Manager -> Default SIM Card -> Select your physical SIM card for voice calls. - On iPhones:
Settings -> Cellular -> Default Voice Line -> Select your physical SIM card.
- Configure the eSIM for data usage
Set the eSIM as the card for internet usage to use mobile data without disrupting voice call functions on the physical SIM card.
- Android:
Settings -> Connections -> SIM Manager -> Default Data SIM -> Select eSIM. - iPhone:
Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data -> Select eSIM.
- Making and receiving calls
Once you've set your physical SIM card as the default for voice calls, you will be able to:
- Make calls using the number assigned to your physical SIM card.
- Receive calls on the number linked to your physical SIM card without interruptions.
