Nowadays, traveling has become much easier than it was even 20-30 years ago. Thanks to the development of aviation, the rise of competition in the form of low-cost airlines, traveling to the most remote corners of the world has become much less problematic and much more convenient. More and more people are choosing to spend their vacations abroad, where it may not be much more expensive to stay, and the weather for beachcombing and active recreation will be much better than in our country.
Nevertheless, more and more people are choosing to organize such a trip on their own. Websites such as booking.com, airbnb.com or skyscanner.com make it easy to book hotels and flights that meet our every need, even the most exorbitant criteria. How to diversify the offer of travel agencies so that they can compete with individual offers and encourage customers to use their services?
A definite novelty on the Polish market are wireless mobile routers with unlimited Internet. This idea has been implemented for many years in Japan, among others, and mini routers are added to hotel rooms. What are the benefits of mobile Internet? Although roaming charges have been reduced throughout the European Union, we can still get a shock when we receive a bill after exceeding the mobile data, minutes and SMS limits in our tariff. With mobile Internet, the customer pays a fixed amount for the so-called day pass and enjoys unlimited data without additional charges.
Such a solution will be especially useful in exotic destinations outside the European Union popular among Polish tourists, such as the Indian Ocean islands (Sri Lanka, Bali, Java, Thai islands, etc.), Australia and Oceania, Middle Eastern countries (Israel, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, etc.), the Caribbean and Mexico, where Internet access may be limited to the hotel complex (where the connection may be unstable), and roaming turned on even accidentally in such remote areas can ruin our budget even in a few seconds. In such a case, it is most convenient to use a portable mini router that we can always carry with us - being able to share our experiences via social media at any time, check opening hours and prices of museums, public transport schedules and our position on the map. In addition, the whole family can successfully use this pocket-sized device at the same time.
